Custom Printed Sticker on MDF for the Workshop Bar

Today we printed a custom sticker for the workshop bar, we used a high adhesive vinyl and stuck it upside down directly onto unsealed MDF. We found a variety of blues pictures and made a collage with them, it was then printed onto high adhesive vinyl and laminated. We then applied to the underneath of the bulkhead we’ve built for the workshop bar. It worked so well, that we’ll extend it around the rest of the underneath of the bulkhead. The high adhesive vinyl can be applied to many different surfaces including unsealed brickwork, concrete and woods. For your custom sticker needs contact us today!

The Burnt Bar Top

This is the bar top for the new bar in the workshop, we gave it some treatment with fire, nails, hammers, bottles, chains, drills and anything that would put a dent into it. It will be sanded, stained and sealed. More pictures in the next few weeks as the bar ‘evolves’. We’ll be decorating it with different signs and materials, if you have any suggestions, let us know!

Beers – The Sign

We’re building a bar in our workshop,  not only because it’s a good idea but because we’re Aussie and every workplace needs a bar to encourage productivity :). We’ve been working out what to call it and have decided one name isn’t enough,  one of the first names we have come up with is Beers,  based on the 90’s American TV show Cheers. Because we have access to Vaccum forming and laser cutting, we made this sign as a test.  It is vacuum formed and then has the vinyl cut logo style applied on top,  we will improve this in time so watch this blog to how the bar turns out, there will be many more signs to decorate the bar….and many more drunken ideas!

The Great Wall of Stickers

I finally got to use some of those extra stickers I’ve been making over the years. Two of us took four hours and about 10 beers each (or was it 20 each?) to put these stickers on,  the crooked ones were not intentional, it was the beer! The Wall will be continued in time to come. I’m slowly but surely getting the new workshop the way it should be. Next stop will be this website.

Custom Printed and Acrylic Gibson Guitar Sign

Gibson-guitar-sign-laser-cut-acrylic-printedThis is sign of my favourite guitar brand – Gibson, I made it by reverse printing a sticker onto clear vinyl and back laminating with white vinyl, it was then applied to 4mm clear acrylic and laser cut, a piece of 4mm black acrylic was laser cut and attached to the back of the sign.
I now have access to a 2400mm x 1200mm laser cutter, if you require laser cutting work, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
