These pictures show corflute signage with digitally printed vinyl applied to them. AAA Custom Trolleys in Browns Plains, QLD required these signs for a trade show they will be attending. Using high quality vector artwork created in Adobe Illustrator, it was printed onto 3M white adhesive vinyl then laminated with 3M clear vinyl and mounted onto 5mm white corflute. With the high end printing process we use, our printers can capture the most complex detail in artwork making signs and stickers pop right out from the material it is printed onto and display as the artist intended.
Corflute is a lightweight and easily transportable material but is also rigid which creates an appealing portable sign that will last for years with care. We can make corflute signs up to 2400mm x 1200mm and use full colour graphics or simple vinyl lettering and graphics for a cheaper sign. Corflute signs can be used for the signage of a small street/market vendor up to big displays for events where signage needs to be quickly installed and uninstalled. It seems the Australian economy has flown to Siberia, will it return? We’re sure it will.
But in the meantime, express yourself with a sticker, one if the cheapest ways known to get a message out there, a sticker can potentially be seen by thousands and thousands of people in one day and the cost per person viewing the sticker is virtually immeasurable.
We can make many different types of stickers that you can use indoors or outdoors, as signs, labels, wall graphics, car stickers and just about any other type of sticker needed.
We only believe in great quality and great quality is what you will get, our equipment, materials and sticker making processes make sure of it.
These days with modern print technology, the printing process is relatively easy. What’s complicated is the artwork from which to print from. Poorly constructed and low quality artwork severely affects the visual quality and impact of a print, no matter how good a print machine is, it really comes down to quality of artwork.
Print works visually much the same as a computer screen, if you’ve ever seen a picture that is pixelated on a computer monitor it means that the picture is too large for the amount of information it contains, it’s just making do with what it’s got and ‘stretching’ pixels to fit the size require.
All digital artwork and pictures are made up from information /data, if there isn’t enough information for the desired print or display result, then it will look low quality.
We avoid printing any low quality artwork as it is visually unappealing and makes an otherwise good quality product look cheap.
We strongly recommend vector graphics/artwork to be used wherever possible. Vector graphics are constructed in computer programs such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw, there are also many other programs that do the same job. Vector artwork is made up from lines and nodes, a line is drawn between two nodes and is either straight or curved, a series of nodes and lines continue to create a path and a series of paths will complete a drawing. Unlike pixel based artwork/pictures (artwork created in a program like Adobe Photoshop or pictures taken with a digital camera) , vector artwork can be scaled to any size without any loss of clarity. It will always have smooth lines and solid consistent fills with colours.
Vector based computer programs are getting more complicated as computers increase in power and depending on the skill of a graphic artist some vector based drawings look like they were taken with a camera. Digital printing technology is also advancing and the print from well constructed vector artwork and high end digital cameras is truly amazing.
If you’re unsure about your artwork, send it to us and we’ll recommend you how to get good print results. We can convert low quality pixel based images into high quality scalable vector artwork at a reasonable price.

Even though we have moved into digital printing, we still sell lots of vinyl cut decals. For those that aren’t sure what these are – they are stickers that are cut from a solid colour adhesive vinyl roll and have no background. We load our sticker cutting machine with the desired coloured vinyl and using a special software program which tells the machine where to cut, the machine drops a tiny knife into the vinyl and cuts the design (the adhesive vinyl is on a wax coated paper which the knife doesn’t cut through).
We then take the cut vinyl from the machine and ‘weed’ it by hand, weeding means using a picker (like a needle point) and removing the unwanted cut parts from the vinyl. Because all these cut bits become separate after cutting, it would be painful if not impossible to apply each bit of sticker to the surface you want to apply it to without having application paper over the top. Application tape is applied over the top of the sticker after it is weeded and keeps all the pieces as one so the sticker can be applied easily.
The process is removing the application tape along with the sticker from the backing paper and then applying it to desired surface, once the sticker is applied the application tape is removed leaving just the sticker ‘bits’.
Vinyl cut decals still have a massive use around the world and can be seen just about everywhere from car signage to shop signage, on boats, trains, planes, bicycles, equipment, walls and many other thousands of surfaces and applications.
They can be used as small decals on a musical instrument up to and exceeding massive multi coloured shop signage.
They look great as fun stickers on cars as well and when used as lettering to get a message across are highly effective.

We’ve gotten pretty good at customising whiteboards. We can print grids, logos and graphics to make a complete and functional board that also acts as a sign.
Let us help you get organised with our custom-made whiteboards. If you need a whiteboard that you can adhere magnets to, we can get these custom made to the size you need as well. Our custom magnetic whiteboards are made here in Brisbane and from quality materials that will give the whiteboard years if not decades of service. The great thing about our customisations is that we don’t sacrifice the board with laser etching and other methods of putting grids and lettering on whiteboards which is permanent, our customisations are done with stickers which won’t damage the board and can be removed, replaced and are durable. We can make custom magnets to suit your board whether it’s simple lettering like a person’s name for example or a more complex graphic or chart, we can also cover the magnets in a special film called Dry Erase Vinyl which resists whiteboard board pens from marking it, this is useful for information that constantly changes and instead of having many magnets with different information, we can help bring that down to just a few that you can change the information on with a whiteboard pen. Our magnetic material is supplied on Rolls at 600mm Wide and we can make whiteboard magnets up to a 2500mm which can become a whiteboard itself and is great for placing over an existing whiteboard to cover previous information without erasing it.

Another customer of ours – Impact Water, required car door magnets and self adhesive vinyl cut decals/stickers for their fleet of cars and trucks. They will install the decals themselves and we have supplied them ready to applied as one piece. As they are a 2 colour design which in the vinyl cutting procedure the 2 colours are cut from different rolls they typically are not applied together which makes it tricky to an inexperienced installer to get the exact placement of each colour. We have made it easier for our customer by supplying the 2 colours together which will ensure their logo is correct when applied to their vehicles. The Art of Stickers can supply all your fleet Car Signage and Car Door Magnets, contact us today!
