This sticker print is 2400mm x 800mm and has been reversed printed and mounted to the back of 3mm clear acrylic. Being a sticker allows the edge to have no frame which reduces cost as well as having a cleaner appeal and not distracting from the picture.
By looking through the 3mm acrylic, the print has more depth and the acrylic adds a very glossy finish to the picture – acrylic is as clear and glossy as glass.

Recently we had an opportunity to make these acrylic plates for our good customer – Ryan Renshaw Gallery. These plates are made from 3mm clear acrylic and are made by using digital printing and laser cutting. The process is simple but highly effective in creating an information plate that is in style with an art gallery. These are used in many other applications and easily custom-made with your design and size, we can also cut them to custom shapes and include full colour graphics. We can include an adhesive back making application to most surfaces easy and quick. We can supply them with holes for mounting with screws or fold the base to make it free-standing. Our good neighbour ZCAR Racing who is the distributor for Hankook Competition Tyres came to us because they needed trophies for the Gallangowan Anniversary Rally held on June 1st. They wanted unique trophies and not off the shelf boring type trophies, they also wanted to use their sheep mascot.
We came up with the solution to print the design, apply to 10mm clear acrylic and laser cut following the contour of the design. We received the sheep artwork as a low resolution JPEG image which isn’t suitable for the process we use, we converted the sheep artwork by redrawing in a vector based program which means that the artwork can now be scaled to any size without any loss of clarity (theoretically it can be scaled to the size of the universe without absolutely no loss of clarity, I’m sure our friends in New Zealand would like sheep that size :)).
Digital Full Colour Printed + Laser Cut Trophies
Once the artwork was done, we printed the designs in reverse onto clear vinyl and applied white vinyl over the top of the print to enhance the colours, we applied the vinyl to the back of 10mm clear acrylic and laser cut the designs to the shape required. We cut the bases and glued them to the bodies creating a unique and very presentable trophy.
